Harvest - Medina

Adding to this Culinary Small Town Mecca, Medina’s newest and best restaurant puts it over the top as a town that anyone who likes good food must visit. We started with a signature cocktail, their customized Amaretto Sour with a splash of red wine that was beautifully layered. The Crab cake appetizer was the best crab cake we’ve ever had, and the Waygu Steak was delicious and cooked perfectly. We also recommend the Apple Cheesecake with a chocolate crust for dessert. The ambience and service were first rate and the Head Chef who hails from Strasburg, France came to our table and talked with us for 5 minutes to make sure everything was as expected. We left thinking that this was one of the best meals that we have ever had and that this is the Best Restaurant in the Buffalo/Niagara Region.

Oliver’s - Buffalo

Fine Dining isn’t just about the food, it is about the experience. Ambience, great service, valet parking - you want to feel pampered from the moment you walk in, to the time that you leave with a full belly and a smile on your face. That was our experience at Oliver’s! Yes, the food was exquisite from the appetizers through dessert, but the restaurant itself and the service throughout the meal was just as fantastic. The Elk Carpaccio appetizer was amazing, as was the Lobster Risotto, Steak, and Sorbet for dessert. This was probably the best meal that we have had in Buffalo and it definitely should be a place you go to when you want the best!

Hutch’s - Buffalo

You know that you are at a Fine Dining establishment when you see Steak Tartare on the menu! The couple of times that we have been to Hutch’s definitely did not disappoint. Hutch’s is best known for their steaks that come from the renowned Allen’s Brothers in Chicago. With other gourmet options like Sesame Seed Crusted Tuna, Rack of Lamb, and Jambalaya Pasta, you definitely won’t be disappointed if you aren’t a meat lover.

Flavors and sauces. It is a culinary art to mix the proper amount of different flavors that compliment each other to make a dish that is much greater than the ingredients in it. We found ourselves complimenting the incredible sauces here with every dish that we shared. The bread didn’t come with butter, but instead had a Sun Dried Tomato, garlic, basil and olive oil sauce that was fantastic. Filet Mignon is great on its own, right? But top it with a creamy mushroom ragout, horseradish cheese, and smoked bacon and you have one fantastic meal. Pan seared duck with mushrooms and cream sauce - heavenly! At the end of the meal when I asked my dining compadres if this restaurant was Top 5 worthy, I got a resounding “Yes” across the board. I agreed wholeheartedly.

Panorama on 7 - Buffalo

Perched on the top floor of the downtown Buffalo Marriott is a great restaurant with an amazing view of the city. But the view isn’t the only reason to come here. The food and cocktails are unique and incredibly tasty. For the Bourbon and Whiskey drinkers, they have micro-fire creation devices to make Smoked Cocktails right at the bar. The Bourbon aficionado sitting next to us said that he would never drink it any other way now. Does a martini that is made with Pickle Juice sound just as gross to you as it did to us? Maybe, but it was darn good. On the food side, the Crab and Watermelon salad was creative and tasty as was the Carbonara as a main course. If you want to step outside of your comfort zone and try some unique and delicious offerings, then this is the place for you.
